Village Incentive Funds in Bima Regency

Village incentive funds (DINDA) are district-scale fiscal transfer models aims at village governments. DINDA is determined through District Regulation Number 41 of 2017. The Bima District Government allocates a budget of IDR1 billion for DINDA through the Regional Budget. This fund will be given to 10 selected villages based on predetermined criteria.


Location:
Bima district, West Nusa Tenggara.


Impact:

  • Increased budget allocation for improving village-level basic services from 19.93 percent in 2017 to 20.19 percent in 2018.
  • The emergence of village-scale thematic development innovations.
