Technical Guidelines for Drafting Village Regulations About Village Authority Based on Origin Rights and Village-Scale Local Authorities

The government has issued the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 44 of 2016 concerning Village Authority. Through this Permendagri, the Government has regulated that village authorities include:

a. Village authority based on origin rights;

b. Village-scale local authority;

c. Authority assigned by the Government, Provincial Government, or Regency/Municipal Government; and;

d. Other authorities assigned by the Government, Provincial Government, or Regency/Municipal Government in accordance with the provisions of the Inviting Laws.

This Permendagri also stipulates that the details of the list of Village Authorities are stipulated through the Regent's Regulation and Village Regulation.
