Gerakan Kembali Upayakan Dukungan untuk Sekolah (KUDU Sekolah) or Gerakan KUDU Sekolah program is an initiative to handle out-of-school children (ATS) and children with Special Needs (ABK) that utilises an application to record and monitor dropout students and return them to school. The power of data collection, data verification and validation, preparation of formal/non-formal education institutions, mentoring, monitoring, and evaluation are important stages in ensuring the availability of a more comprehensive profile of out-of-school children to assist identification, classification and effective policy responses and efficient.
This guide describes how the commitment, coordination and active role of multi-stakeholders, policy umbrellas, and budgeting are important roles for local governments and education units to jointly address the problem of out-of-school children (ATS).
